King Peter or Queen Lucy?

yo people! went to watch Tarnia today! yupp! The Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian! it's a very very nice show! and it really brings me back to a question, "who are you fighting for?" let me give you a brief summary/comparison.

Asland the Lion - God
King Peter - He was the one who led the battle in narnia and whose faith was not as strong as
the first episode of Narnia but after some time he reconciled with God.
Queen Lucy - She was the youngest among the 4 kings and queens but she was also the only one
who kept her faith throughout the whole time in Narnia.

During the show, there were a few questions asked at different part of time, which led to a few short stories I'm gonna tell now! so sit back and think!(:

During the first battle, when King Peter was preparing to fight, one of his sister, Queen Susan asked him, "who are you fighting for?" and he replied "for Narnia!" during that point in time, King Peter was the King of Narnia, so in other words, he is fighting for himself and his land. in the current context, i am sure that everyone one of us has also fight for our own satisfaction or our own glory, because we are all humans. King Peter did not have faith in Asland at all. He even questioned, "how long more are we gonna wait for Asland?" similarly, sometimes when there is nothing we can do to help ourselves except to wait for God, we do ask God when is He gonna help us. and for this first battle, they were defeated badly. only a handful returned from the battle and this is because they relied on their own effort.

During the second battle, King Peter knew that Queen Lucy could see Asland because she believes that Asland is still with her even in difficult circumstances. He then asked Queen Lucy to go into the woods to find Asland fo help. True enough, Queen Lucy found Asland and she said "I knew you were there." but Asland asked her "why didn't you come to look for me earlier?" and Queen Lucy said "I was afraid to come into the woods alone." if we look into the current context, it is the same as God asking us, why are we waiting to go to Him for help when we need help, and relied on our own efforts? for me, sometimes it's true that i'm afraid to ask God for help, cos i thought that it meant that i am weak. but now then i realised that we are weaker if we relied on our own efforts, because after all we are merely humans and what is human as compared to God? then when the second battle began, King Peter then said "for Asland!" then i begin to question myself, who am i fighting for? for God or for myself? and how long more am i gonna keep God waiting when i'm in need of help? sometimes i find that when we are fighting for ourselves, we can't persevere but when we wanna fight for God, it is easier to persevere. i think it's because humans do get tired but God gives strength.(Phil 4:13)

so people, for God! let's all remind each other of our priorities in life yea? life is short and we will never know when it's gonna end. so let's not waste anymore time or keep God waiting. let's fight for Asland! for God! ((((:
