festival.of.PRAISE
The day was Saturday, 2nd August to be precise. 9 young & hungry girls grabbed some snacks from the faithful YC snack table, and headed for Bedok Interchange, food all over their minds. Finally reaching food paradise, each one of them eagerly bought their meals, some even devouring the food within minutes. Then, they contentedly marched towards the MRT station, looking forward to the night ahead.
These 9 young & happy girls were on their way to the annual, much anticipated, Festival of Praise, and boy, were they excited to praise God.

Haha I make everyone of us sound like some food-grubbers right? Whoops.. Haha but anyway, I think the rest of the night is self-explanatory, we all had a wonderful time praising & worshipping God at the extremely crowded indoor stadium didn't we? It sure was heart-warming to hear our voices resounding as one as we worshipped there, it gave me just a small glimpse of what it would be like in heaven! Oh, and we even learnt how to read upside down too. Haha.
There is one thing that I would really like to give thanks for, and that is the fact that everyone of you girls could make it, plus me. (Georgie! We miss you!) At first, only about slightly more than half said yes, they could go for FOP, and I was seriously considering having cell as per normal instead. But somehow God made it work out such that Cheryl & Clara's parents let them go, Sherry who couldn't go last year cos it ends too late, was also excited & able to go this time round. That was Thursday. But it was still uncertain as to whether Sydnie could go, so from Thursday night to Friday all the way to Saturday, I was praying and praying that she could. I didn't want it to be the case whereby all of us went, and Sydnie would have to go home. I would rather have cell group with that scenario, but seeing everyone so excited about FOP, i couldn't bear to. So it sure was a dilemma, until the Lord intervened and allowed Sydnie's parents to both say yes. In the end, all of us went. Isn't God amazing? We serve a God who works wonderfully & loves us so! =D
